UConn Geosciences is focused on becoming a standout geosciences program in New England.  Accomplishing our vision depends on the continued and generous support of our alumni, friends, and corporate stakeholders, and we could not accomplish such a large initiative without it.  Giving to UConn’s Geosciences program, at any level, is a wonderful way to say thank you for an the wonderful experiences and superior education you received at UConn.  We encourage and welcome your donation and support.

The Andrew J. Nalwalk Memorial Award: To award a scholarship to a graduate student in Geosciences, Marine Geosciences or Oceanography. Priority consideration will go to a continuing graduate student demonstrating independent scholarship in geosciences, marine geology or oceanography. Financial need is not a criterion for this award.  Recipients of awards so provided shall be selected by the Scholarship Committee consisting of three faculty members, at least one of whom is from Geosciences, one from the Department of Marine Sciences and with at least one being a member of the Marine Sciences Institute.  Email geology@uconn.edu for more information.
